Village Hotel Cardiff, Cardiff

It was quite disappointing to see how much the hotel has changed over the years. Once a lovely place for a romantic getaway, it now feels more like a noisy pub than a serene retreat. While my room was clean and modern, it reeked of cigarettes, and the dining experience was not what I expected either. The self-service check-in and chaotic atmosphere left a lot to be desired.

The restaurant delivered good meals, but the noise levels in the bar made it difficult to relax.
